The Day Ranch’s Hollywood Hill Block was planted with Dijon 667 and 115 clones in 2006. Situated on the foothills of the Anderson Valley, the vineyard has unique geography including highland meadows, plateaus, and multiple river tributaries (Certified Fish Friendly) to the Navarro River which flows to the direction of the coastal areas. The fine loam weathered sandstone and shale consists of the deep Bearwallow soil series and alluvium Boontling soil series.

Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels; bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Opening with resinous cedar aromas and a distinct rose petal note, this elegant but concentrated Pinot Noir offers up a palate of classic cherry cola, wild mushroom, and hibiscus. Pair it up with farfalle pasta tossed with spinach and toasted walnut pesto, dusted with aged parmesan. Cedar-plank-grilled salmon and a microgreen salad will be delicious as well.
